Some rich people inherit their money, others win the lottery, some have high-paying jobs and make good investments. A few, however, accumulate their riches by using their intelligence to the fullest. You can read about one such case in point below.

An attractive, well-dressed woman walked into a bank in New York City and said she wanted a $10,000 loan and was willing to put up her two-year-old Rolls Royce as collateral.

The loan officer was a bit surprised by her unusual request, but checked with his bosses and confirmed that her credit was good, then went ahead and made the loan.

The woman delivered the vehicle to the bankers, who confirmed the title was in her name and disbursed the loan to the woman.

A few days after she returns from a nice two-week vacation in Tahiti, the woman returns to the bank to repay the loan and collect the car.

The bankers were puzzled by the woman’s request, but complied. They took the original loan amount plus the $15 and change in interest from the woman, and ordered her car released from storage.

She nodded to the bankers afterwards, and said “Thanks so much. I greatly appreciate doing business with you. You saved me several hundred dollars in storage fees for my car with this loan.”
