Using aluminum foil on your body can be really helpful

Aluminum foil is one of those items that can be found in almost all kitchens. Most people use it to cover leftovers or wrap up tomorrow’s sandwich, but have you ever considered wrapping yourself in it? Here are five good reasons why that might not be such a bad idea.


Get rid of colds
When the flu season begins again, you’ll be happy to have this trick up your sleeve. You can address many flu symptoms using aluminum foil – and no meds! Try wrapping your feet in 5-7 layers of foil for about one hour. The foil has anti-inflammatory properties and can helpmitigate some of your cold symptoms. Let your feet breathe for two hours and then repeat the process. You’ll notice an improvement in a few days’ time. Of course, you should always visit your doctor if your symptoms last for longer than one week.

Alleviate burns
Not many people realize that aluminum foil is better than most other things when it comes to healing burns. American researchers even recommend that doctors treat fresh burns with foil. You should first run water over the burn, carefully cleaning the wound, and then dry it with a clean towel.
