OWNER NOTICES THE TIP JAR IN HIS DONUT SHOP COMPLETELY EMPTY, THEN FINDS THIS NOTE INSIDE (VIDEO)
A viral video of a precarious situation that a local doughnut shop owner in Alvin, Texas had experienced captured the attention of a young area girl, and she knew exactly what to do to help make things right. As ABC 13 explains, the video featured a customer dipping her hands into the store’s tip jar to help herself.
Daylight Donuts owner Andy Chhong was pretty stunned by what he saw on the store’s security footage, so he decided to upload the video to Facebook for all to see. The video clearly shows a woman that was in line at the shop reaching her hand into the tip jar and pocketing a handful of cash.
Chhong was equally stunned when he found a note inside of the tip jar from a girl named Chloe after he posted the video.
“Dear Donut Man, my mom showed me the video of your money getting stolen. I’m sorry that happened. This is my tooth fairy money. Sorry that happened, Chloe,” the adorable note read.
He poked around to find out the identity of the girl that left the note, and he’s promised her free doughnuts for life.
“She’s such an amazing kid. People need to, like, follow this kind of attitude,” he said.
